I grew up in Iowa, USA, and am a world citizen with practical midwestern sensibilities and a cosmic perspective.  I was always sensitive and empathic, with an active and at times mystical and prophetic dream life.  

A head injury at 21 forced me to go more into sensing and learning to live more intuitively, perceiving and living from the wisdom of the heart, as my brain didn’t work as it had before.  A near-death experience during emergency surgery in my mid 20’s awoke me from the matrix, and I came back with a knowingness of the interconnectedness of all things. This along with a spontaneous kundalini awakening around the same time, propelled me on a journey of spiritual inquiry and healing, fueled by a sudden ability to see into people’s bodies and receive information when they touched me that freaked me out a bit.  

I started exploring spirituality and healing work 25 years ago; to help me make sense of the dramatic perceptual shifts I was experiencing. Reality was spontaneously melting and reforming around me, and I was seeing suddenly into other worlds with other beings, and having ongoing communication with them.  I was taken on dream journeys nightly, exploring different cultures and healing, as well as to the far reaches of the cosmos.  In waking reality, I have explored shamanic healing with Lakota shamans, a Mayan Tzotzil shaman, Cherokee medicine people, a Guatemalan shaman, Tibetan shaman/monks, and Balinese shamans, as well as cross-cultural shamans. My healing studies along the way have included various forms of energy healing including Reiki, as well as Theta Healing,  Craniosacral Therapy, and different modes of shamanic healing. With the help of some lovely humans along the way... my teachers have mostly been in spirit, leading me to develop my own unique methods of healing work.

I am passionate about embodying spirit in everyday life and the embodiment of the divine in each of us. I am passionate about exploring the interface between spirit or energy and matter, as it affects healing, and as it defines “reality”.  One of my gifts is the ability to intuitively see to the core and discover the deep issues that affect a person’s well-being and spiritual growth, and then help them to shift.  I love helping others to recognize their true gifts. 

I have had a healing practice for 20 years, where I employ energy healing in my own system of Spiral Energetic Healing, as well as Craniosacral therapy, shamanic healing, and creating custom Bali Flower Essences. I do home and business clearings, as well as medical intuitive readings, intuitive guidance, and mentoring by SKYPE.  I also do distance healing and space clearing. I have the ability to read the energy and receive information beyond the words of my client, and to hold deep compassionate space to reflect what they already know and bring it into conscious awareness for healing.
  
I am also a mother to a 9-year-old light warrior, extreme empath, wife of 17 years to a man also in the healing arts, teacher of healing and spiritual studies, frequent dinner party hostess, and cat rescuer.  I am a self-trained pastry chef and chocolate goddess (per my friends), and enjoy creating elaborate delights to feed the souls and tummies of those I love."
